100 Years of Knowle West Style

Knowle West was one of the first council-built estates in Bristol. As part of #HomesforHeroes100 KWMC will be opening doors across Knowle West on Saturday to provide an insight into the past, present and future of the area.

Knowle West Media Centre has commissioned three artists to work with residents to explore the culture, style and stories of the estate, in a project called ‘100 Years of Knowle West Style’.

Walk (2pm+ 4pm ): Uncover local icons on a led walk, with trails devised by residents, artist Lukus Robbins and community walks leader Cheryl Martin.

Talk and exhibition (3.30pm):See new artworks created by local residents and artists George Lovesmith and Holly Beasley Garrigan, in a Parlour Room talk in a Knowle West home.
