Welcome aboard for a tour of Bristol’s Industrial Heritage.
We’ve teamed up with people across the city to create a socially distanced tour of our favourite boats and bridges. Discover the secrets of the city’s most famous vessels and iconic bridges, and traverse a long lineage of maritime history, guided by a multitude of Bristol’s most knowledgeable voices.
Climb aboard Tower Belle for a return tour from the city centre into the Cumberland Basin.
Boats on the tour include: The extraordinary SS Great Britain, the MV Balmoral (a classic excursion vessel) and Mayflower (a Victorian steam tug).
Bridges on the tour include: Pero’s bridge, Merchants’ Bridge, Castle Bridge, Plimsoll Bridge and the majestic Clifton Suspension Bridge.
We’ve significantly reduced the capacity of the boats to allow for social distancing.
Masks must be worn on board.
Pick Up Point:
The boat picks up at City Centre Cascade Steps and drops off a minute away at Watershed Pontoon to facilitate distancing.
No refunds or exchanges possible unless changes to government guidelines prevent the event from taking place.
