Freemasons' Hall

Set in the heart of Bristol, this striking Grade II listed building will be opening its doors during the festival this year for the first time.

Originally the home of the ‘Historic and Philosophical Centre’, this beautiful building was acquired by the Freemasons of Bristol in 1871. Steeped in tradition and ceremony, the hall has a rich heritage with a glamorous undercurrent.

Recently refurbished, the building is primarily used for Freemasonry meetings and is normally not open to the public, although the event space has hosted weddings and meetings.

Tours (10am, 11.30am, 1pm): Learn about the history and heritage of the hall and gain unique insight into the traditions and ceremony of the Freemasons. Free refreshments available.
