DROP IN TOURS & TRAIN RIDES

Get behind the scenes of one of Bristol’s most visited venues.

Guided tours: Access the M Shed storerooms and view treasures from their social, industrial and maritime history collections. Discover the treasures in store in the huge back rooms, ranging from uniform buttons to heavy machinery and from cigarette packets to huge works of art.

Talk to the curators about their work and meet the volunteers whose efforts keep the working exhibits operating. In addition to M shed’s normal programme of tours, explore this venue from a new perspective on two special tours running this weekend:

Saturday tour:

Take a closer look: A tour of the M Shed galleries. 3.30pm

Sunday tour:

Women of Bristol: A tour of the M Shed galleries. 3.30pm

And… why not take a trip on Bristol Harbour Railway, the Museum’s steam train?
