Embark on a tour of Bristol’s biggest dry dock, unearthing the hidden history of one of the city’s most notable maritime locations.
Albion Dock hosted the building of Bristol’s biggest vessels and is still used for ship repairs today. After laying derelict for three years, the 1820’s Grade II Listed docks reopened in 2019. Many ships were built on the site, specialising mainly in merchant and commercial vessels.
Tours: Explore both the past and future of the dock, and the emerging plans for the development of the site under the SS Great Britain Trust’s 125-year lease.
