Take a sneak peek at this private members’ club hidden in the heart of Clifton Village. Join guided tours to see the vast Regency rooms of the Grade II* listed building. As the Club celebrates its 200th anniversary, hear splendid stories and admire artefacts from the last two centuries.
Originally designed as The Clifton Hotel & Assembly Rooms by Francis Howard Greenway, an architect famed for his designs in Australia after he was deported from the UK for fraud. The building’s exterior features a three-storey stone facade, columns with scrolls, sash windows and a family crest of the financiers and interior details such as large glass domed ceilings, open fireplaces, stained glass windows and high ceilings.
