Book on a tour of this former colour printing and paper bag factory, now redeveloped into apartments, to gain an insight into the challenges and rewards of the restoration. Keep an eye out for the stunning round atrium and the original frieze illustration of the factory’s activities.
This imposing re-brick building was constructed as a paper bag factory in typical late 19th century style and became a local icon. During the award-winning conversion, the iron-structure was retained, with brick walls exposed internally. A two story roof addition created duplex apartments, with a full-height atrium to introduce natural light.
